What majors or minors are you/your student seeking or hoping to seek?

Are you pursuing a BA, a BS, or other?

The main difference between the two is that a BA involves 6 second language classes, while a BS includes 3 math classes. The BS requires less basic classes, but may not be available for all majors.

Does your student speak a second language?

Math/Second Language Placement test results?

You/your student should have taken this placement test through UO. This will help us determine what MATH/Second Language courses are needed.

Are you/your student receiving any scholarships that are given out term by term over 4 years? (i.e. Summit, Finley, Presidential, ect.)

How quickly are you/your student hoping to finish college?

If a student is coming into colllege with extra credits, it is much easier to graduate early, but it's still fully possible to graduate early coming into college with no credits. Conversely, if a student comes into college with extra credits but wants to spend a full 4 years in college, we can also make sure they're taking a light courseload so it's both easier and more affordable.

For non-STEM majors who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science* that are at all interested in computers, we highly recommend the Computer and Information Science minor. It can be a great way to gain a very useful skill, hit your science and math basic class requirements, and end up taking more electives or adding an extra major/minor. Are you interested in this?

What Classes/Credits has you/your student already completed (i.e. AP Classes/Tests, Community College Classes, ect.)

If you're unsure of how the credits transfer as classes, please use the UO or OSU transfer equivalency tools, or email us a PDF of your students degree guide if they have access to it.

If you/your student has access to their degree guide, would you be willing to email it to us? It makes the process much easier!
